Sharing my Christmas Card

Hi everyone. Lots going on! I am really behind here. I have so much in my head to share but not enough time to do it. As I type the kids are running around. I just saved the dog from the dolly stroller and she is hiding behind the child gate here in my office. lol
Anyway, I wanted to share my personal holiday card designed using purchased digital scrapbook items. Most of my cards are designed using my own items, but I do have some commercial scrapbook items that I can use to help design the perfect card for you. I love the scrapbooking look myself, so here's mine.
I also want to talk to you all about the new law going into affect in February of 2009. Alot has been written in our boutique blogs and so much is being said on whether or not this will affect boutique clothing designers. Well, it definately will. Please stay tuned, I need to share the info with you so you can pass it on or help us get this law revised. It will not only affect my business and thousands of other WAHMs, but alot of the stores you love to shop at. I will be posting more information soon. You can also check out the Boutique News blog for some other postings on this serious matter.

Holiday Cards Still Available!

For those of you who don't know, my occupation before WAHM was as a graphic artist and newspaper editor. I have actually been doing graphic design longer than I have been driving legally. Along with business cards, hang tags and other supplies, I also design invitations, announcements and Holiday cards. I recently did a new design for a customer that I'd love to share with you. Mostly because her children are just the cutest! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I can take orders for Christmas Cards and Postcards. If you are running behind (like I am this year) and need them in a rush, I can also provide design only in 4x6 or 5x7 size with a file you can print at your local one hour photo. The difference between my printing and theirs is simple. My printed items are press run on heavy cardstock and gloss coated. If you print at the local one hour photo, your cards will be printed exactly like your photos are on the same paper, same way. So it is up to you which you prefer. If you check out my Etsy Store, you'll see listings for both. Happy Holidays!

Updates and our Contest Winner Revealed!

Hi everyone! Thanks for being patient with me over the past few months. I have finally updated my personal blog about what has been going on with me. I am sorry I haven't been able to fill you all in but I needed some time to deal with everything. I had no choice but to take a break from blogging, sewing and all things that I love because I just couldn't focus on any of them. Here's hoping I can finally get back to things that make me smile!
Anyway, I owe you all one important thing. I forgot to post the winner to the business card contest and I am so sorry about that. So, without further delay, the winner to receive 100 free business cards is Kelly of PiaTilly's Boutique! Congrats Kelly and thank you for your patience! My contests usually go smoothly, this one just happened to fall smack in the middle of all of the craziness the year has brought me.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am going to post a few of my new items in a bit.
Take care and thank you for your support!
